Welcome 2025!

I sold my marketing company in 2024 and am a little over two months into “the next chapter”, as people seem to call it. For funzies I started a travel blog and now decided to write a newsletter too.

Getting ready for winter on the Space Coast

While I’m in New York, I’ve been dreaming of the Space Coast of Florida. Beach sunrises, river sunsets, chatting with neighbors, making new friends and exploring new places.

But while I’m here in the Hudson Valley of New York I’ve written two blogs about small towns you may not have heard of:

• Leeds, New York

• Cairo, New York

Earlier this year, I wrote a blog on Catskill, New York and updated it in December.

Why aren’t I already on the Space Coast? Well - we have a few family things to take care of before we head out. So we’re ‘enjoying’ the frozen north in the meantime. Like seeing the Hudson unfreeze after it froze…. (hah, hah)

Right now, this is brandy new, so this is what I’m planning…

I’ll be writing about places I’ve been or local to where I live to start. This newsletter will be a bit more off the cuff and personal. And then as the year progresses, I’ll cover new places I visit.

Eventually I’d like to set up tours with small groups or arrange for discounts to places I know are great. But… I’ll need a following first. And that’s where you come in.
